3. Kaliurang
It is located approximately 25 km from the city of Yogyakarta. The weather is very cool around 17 to 19 degrees. Nowadays, there are plenty of facilities provided such as; pool, playground or even sports field. The best time to visit Kaliurang is before nine in the morning, when the sun just rise.
4. Candi Prambanan
Candi Prambanan is located approximately 20 km east Yogyakarta, 40 km from west Surakarta and 120 km from south Semarang. Candi prambanan was built around the year 850 by either King Rakai Pikatan of Mataram Dinasty or King Balitung Maha Sambu from Sanjaya Dinasty.
You won’t believe how the temples were built. The legend told us that it was built by ‘Loro Jongrang’ the wife of ‘Batawara Siwa’. She has powerful magic and was known to be the most beautiful woman at that time. Again this story may not be entirely true, but has been delegated from generations to generations.
