Western National Parks Entrace Fee Rising
Posted on October 7th, 2005 by Administrator
According to James Doyle, seventeen sites in the National Park Service’s Intermountain Region, which covers eight states, will raise entrance fees in 2006. The money will be used for projects such as construction of restrooms or visitor centers and maintenance of interpretive programs.

The increase will be around $1 per person for weeklong passes in places such as New Mexico’s Bandelier National Monument, $5 per person for weeklong vehicle pass in Yellowstone and around $50 for annual passes in other areas.
