Here are some tips from Cash Passport that you’ll need when you want to travel without hassles :

1. Always take more than one form of payment. For example; cheques, Cash Passport, local cash, credit/debit card for bigger purchases.

2. If your destination have a good ATM network take Cash Passport but if not, take travellers cheques.

3. Make sure the travellers cheques are in the currency of the country you are visiting as they will be more accepted when you need to go to restaurants or shops.

4. Remember to sign each of your travellers cheques once only when you purchase them.

5. Take your sales advice slip overseas with you and must keep them separate from your cheques all the time. The reason being is because in case of lost/stolen cheques, you can just follow the instructions on the sales advice slip.

6. Always take some local currency to cover taxis, tips and other small expenses when you arrive at destination.

7. If you run short of funds while travelling, you can top up your Cash Passport card by BPAY

8. When using Cash Passport, it is suggested that you use one card only on a daily basis and keep other in a secure place. If the card is stolen, you can then use the second one to access your fund.

9. Keep a photocopy of your passport, travel documents and other important stuff at your home with a family member in case they are stolen.

10. Keep track of your fund always! Especially when you are using a credit card, just in case someone else might use your account.

11. Don’t forget to keep your receipts of purchases, especially big ones in case the credit card company asks for them.
