Travel Ideas: Holy Land Travel
For some people travelling to religious sites can be quite fulfilling and challenging. When you visit Ethiopia don’t forget to go to the Simien Mountains as one of the major highlands of Africa, rising to their highest point in Ethiopia, Ras Dejen (4,620m), the fourth highest peak in the African continent.
Secondly, India the home of Buddhism starts from the most popular Taj Mahal originally built for the King’s wife. Then after that Bodhgaya (the Mahabohi Temple where Buddha received enlightenment), and continues in Buddha’s footsteps visiting Rajgir, Nalanda, Patna, Kushinagar, Balrampur Lucknow, and Lumbini — the birth place of Buddha.
