The tropical island of Niue is situated 19˚south of the Equator. It’s 2,200 km’s northeast of New Zealand, 386 km’s east of Tonga and 900 km’s west of Rarotonga in the Cook Islands.
Population of Niue Island is about 1500 people live in only 14 widely dispersed villages. The rest of the island comprises virgin rainforest and farmland. We don’t recommend it, but there’s a lot of space to get really lost, if you want to.

Togo Chasm
A half day return journey to a fantastical chasm at the sea edge, hidden within a landscape of concentric swirls of lattice like rocks, a tiny golden sand enclave lush with palms. Walk to the very end of the chasm and you’ll find a pool reputed to be home to a monstrous eel - and then contemplate how an eel arrived on an island with no open fresh water!? Other places including Limu, Matapa Chasm, Liku Sea Track and Cave, Palaha Cave, Talave Archer, Avaiki Cave, and Anapala Chasm

Activities
As one of the largest raised coral atolls in the world, spectacular diving opportunities abound in the waters around Nuie. A series of reef, canyons and caverns sculpted beneath the surface teem with the brilliant color and diversity of fish lige., and provide an exhilarating and memorable experience for novice and pro divers.
Other activities in Niue Island are walks, cycling, caving, fishing, dolphin and whale encounters.
