Poseidon undersea resort, fiji is the world’s first seafloor resort which plan to be open in the beginning of 2009 for the option of two nights stay or four nights stay to see the beautiful undersea view. The resort is 40,000 feet underwater and stretched up to 5,000 acres of Fijian Lagoon.
Yes, it is quite impossible to be true, but you can actually stay in a hotel with 360 degree ocean view undersea for up to 1,200 feet below! What a great construction it will be! Of course, they will be considering the safety issues by implementing a “high-tech carbon fibre door” with the “steel wall of 25-millimeter (1-inch) and 100-millimeter thick (4-inch). They also said that each suite has 6:1 safety factor.
The Resort website is accessible right now for those who are interested in making a reservation or just have a look what the resort will be look like. The Starting price of the hotel will be around US$30,000 per couple per week. For the official reservation’s date starts from July 17th 2007.
The price of $30,000 will include:
- transportation from and to Nadi/Nuva
- 4 nights luxury beach
- 2 nights luxury undersea suite
- diving on-board on luxury submarine
- gourmet meals and drinks
