Palm Jumeirah, Dubai

Dubai has the largest man made island in the world called Palm Jumeirah. In fact, Palm Jumeirah is only one of the three Palm Islands other than Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira. Palm Jumeirah is located on the Jumeirah coastal area of the emirate of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The unique man-made island is built in the shape of a date palm tree and consists of a trunk, a crown with 17 fronds, and a surrounding crescent island that will form a water-breaker.
In about four years time this Palm Jumeirah Island will be transform into the most luxurious Island ever existed in the world. Around 25 top five-stars hotel/resorts will be built here, such as; Shangri La, One and Only Royal Mirage, Starwood, Marriott, Oberoi, etc.
Not only that, the vision of Palm Jumeirah is to become the primary residential area and retreat. Some of the sites include; Signature Villas, Garden Homes, and Canal Cove Town Homes, shoreline apartment buildings and many other.
