New Airport Rules

The new rules for taking liquids, aerosols and gels has been taking place in Australian airport recently started 31 March 2007. This means you can only bring liquid for a size of 20×20cm.

Once you’ve arrived at the airport they’ll be giving you the small plastic just in case you want to carry small amount of liquid; that is only 100ml or less. Therefore food & drinks are not allowed as well as liquid cosmetics & toiletries such as fragrance, lipstick/lipgloss, mascara, toothpaste, etc.

However, there is an exemption to baby stuff such as empty containers, baby milk, baby juice, baby food powder, and other baby products.

Medicines such as prescribed ones and essential non-prescribed, insulin can all be taken on board.

So, my tip is don’t bring any cosmetics at all on board and have drink once you get on the plane. Have a safe trip! :)
