Lemur at Madagascar
Madagascar, you may have heard about the island from the movie that was released some time ago. Madagascar is located 400 kilometres off the east coast of Africa. Lemur is one of the cute animals that have been described in the movie, is actually exist in Madagascar.

How to get there:
- Air Madagascar operates four direct flights between Paris CDG and Antananarivo each week. British Midland operates a connecting service from London Heathrow, Leeds-Bradford, East Midlands and Edinburgh. You can also fly from any UK airport served by Air France for an extra charge.
- Travellers from North America can fly to Paris to connect with the Air Madagascar or Air France service to Antananarivo. Alternatively, you can fly to Johannesburg and connect with the Air Madagascar or South African Airways service.
- Air Madagascar flies from Rome, Nairobi, Singapore, and Mauritius, as well.
The wildlife hot destinations in Madagascar include:
1. Perinet (Analamazaotra) - Mantadia
You can find vast arrays of Lemurs, frogs and reptile in Mantadia. It is located around 37 km from Perinet, stretches up to 10 000 hectares of primary rainforest inhabited by rare wildlife. Star attractions include the diadem sifaka, ruffed lemur and all four rainforest-dependent ground-rollers
2. Ranomafana National Park
Here you can spot five or more different kinds of Lemur as well as rare birds. Ranomafana protects 12 species of lemur, including all three bamboo lemurs, ruffed and red-bellied lemurs and the striking Milne-Edward’s diadem sifaka.
3. Masoala National Park and Nosy Mangabe Island
The national park protects different kinds of animals and plants. In the Bay of Antongil, the uninhabited island reserve of Nosy Mangabe is a stronghold for the ruffed and white-fronted lemurs and the bizarre aye aye shown from the picture above.
