Sitka is one of the popular destination for tourists, known for its magnificent landscape both the sea and the land. Sitka also called as the first city of Alaska, meaning ‘People on the Outside of Shee’. ABCnews reported that Sitka Sound and Mt. Edgecumbe towers over Sitka are the most attractive sites that you can enjoy.
John Dunlap from Allen Marine also said that “Sitka is often called the Paris of the Pacific, there are mountains that just come right to the sea. And right now they’re very snow-capped so it’s very spectacular.”
